The lady at the post office provided me some information about the roof leak, she told me that they were waiting for the roof replacement supplier to service all of the problems, however they were not going to be able to do the toil until they had a week of sizzling weather. My associate and I might not have a week of sizzling weather until August. My associate and I have had an unusually wet Spring season. The mountainous region earned three times as much snow as it usually gets, however one night they had 75 inches of snowfall in twelve hours. I can’t even imagine being trapped in that much snow plus ice. It sounds like a nightmare. There’s no choice of snow here, however we still have to worry about water, rain, plus leaks. I was distraught about the roof in my own home, however luckily I have not had any problems.

I have been working in our bathroom because the air conditioning doesn’t seem to be working anywhere else in our house.

I don’t know what the issue is, but something has really got to give.

The weather is still pretty hot around here and it doesn’t seem to be cooling off that much yet, even though the summer is supposed to be almost over. I can’t stand to be too hot and whenever I don’t have air conditioning in my house, I end up getting a headache and I can’t get any work done. I have to concentrate on my work and when I get too hot it really makes me lose my concentration. Working in the bathroom is really weird because you just never think about having to do work in the bathroom! I have to hang towels behind me so that the people that I have meetings with won’t realize that I’m in the bathroom. That would be really embarrassing but the problem with the air conditioning is just so bad now that I can’t stand to be anywhere in the house except in the bathroom. I love the fact that the bathroom stays so cold but I wish that the air conditioning was actually working someplace else in the house other than the bathroom. I guess I’m going to have to make an appointment with the HVAC company to get the rest of the air conditioning fixed. I guess I’ve waited long enough to get the whole thing worked on, though. We have to get the A/C fixed.

The A/C isn’t working in our camper, and that’s really messing up my plans for this weekend! I was planning on going camping for the weekend with my kids and the rest of my family, but then the air conditioning stopped working and now I don’t think that I’m going to be able to go.

• The weather around here has been really hot for the past month, and it certainly doesn’t look like it’s going to be cooling off anytime soon.

The temperature earlier today was 92 degrees and it’s supposed to be around the same later on this weekend. I just don’t think that there is any way that I am going to be able to stay in that camper in all of that heat without having a working air conditioning. I think that I would just be miserable and I don’t think that we could possibly have a very good time without having the air conditioning fixed first. Usually my husband is able to get the heating and cooling system fixed before we go anywhere in the camper, but for some reason, he can’t figure out what the problem is with the A/C this time. It’s just one of those things that we can’t seem to figure out and I know that if we go, we are just going to be miserable. I think that my husband just wants to go regardless of whether the A/C is working or not, but that just isn’t going to work for me. I want to go, but not in these circumstances!

We bought it for $100k, and less than a decade later could sell it for a million bucks! Before then we had to get a new roof, a new central HVAC system, and new appliances for the kitchen. We consulted with a few local real estate experts who told us that spending $10,000 on renovations could raise our asking price by 20 or 30 thousand! With that in mind, we got the nicest central HVAC system we could find, because we knew it would raise the price of the house even further. After all, we weren’t selling it to some struggling family, but to the wealthy elite, who don’t mind paying an arm and a leg for quality climate control equipment. We worked with a local general contractor, so that we could go through one business for the HVAC installation and the roof repairs. This one company handled it all, and it did very quickly. I can’t wait for this all to be done with, so Marsha and I can move to the beach.

When we first opened the door for the initial walkthrough, the rank odor hit me in the face like the blade of a shovel.

I have always been very sensitive to odors and especially smoke, so I put on a face covering before continuing with the tour. The house was old and in need of a lot of repairs, but it did come on a large parcel of land that overlooked the river. A beautiful setting for an old and dingy house that needed a lot of work… especially the air quality! Although it had been empty for some months, the indoor air quality in this place was still foul and disgusting. This was not a matter of opening the windows for natural ventilation and turning on some box fans. The entire place needed to be scraped down to the bare walls, and the whole ductwork system needed a thorough cleaning. Besides being smokers these jokers also neglected to ever change out the air filters in the system. The old air filters were so dirty they had crusted over. With no air filter to protect them, the insides of the air ducts were coated with layers of dust and grime. It was actually quite sickening! After a full ductwork cleaning, new air filters, new paint and carpets, and a few days of airing out, the place was livable again. The air quality was reasonable, but hopefully it will keep improving over time, because we won’t smoke in the house.

Have you ever wondered how those HEPA filters catch all the things they manage to catch? I have always wondered how they are able to keep your air quality so clean. I know they work really well, however how exactly do they work? This was a question I asked our local heating and AC serviceman when she came out to repair an air conditioning concern I was having. I told her that I had recently switched to HEPA filters because of how good they are in the home. She went on to explain to myself and others exactly how the HEPA filter works. She said that they have a bunch of microscopic fibers and that they are responsible for catching all the dirt and debris. These papers are so small that they are able to catch even the tiniest pieces of bacteria and particles that would otherwise definitely make her way through. If this dust and bacteria were to make its way through, it would be flowing around in your air, which you would then be breathing in. However, the HEPA filter stops them and it prevents them from getting into the air. Therefore it helps to keep you healthy, which is why there are more than 2 benefits to using a HEPA filter. When she explained this to myself and others it all made sense and I understood how HEPA filters work and I was pretty amazed by the technology. It was really nice to have a HEPA filter to use because they really did offer myself and others great air quality.

It’s time for me to change our air filters, as my other filters I have to change every month.

I feel that most people only have to change their filters every 3 months, however I have to change our air filter every month because of how dirty it is.

I started using HEPA filters because I have noticed that it has increased our air quality significantly. Ever since I saw our air quality improve, I have wanted to continue to have a better life by continuing to use HEPA filters. I can’t believe I used disposable air filters for so long when HEPA filters are apparently the superior choice. There was only one problem, right when I really needed them the AC dealer ran out of them. I have gotten used to buying them every month, and I should have bought two of them because I was making a mistake only buying one at a time when I needed it. Well something that was superb happened, those HEPA filters went on sale. The concern was that because they went on sale everybody was scrambling to get some, and there were people fighting over the filters. Unfortunately for myself and others I was one of the last people to make it to the heating and AC store, and so I was unable to get my hands on one of those, however I still really needed a filter. I was going to continue to look elsewhere to see if I can try to find one. And after searching three more heating and AC dealers I finally found one!

So I did something stupid, I did something my wife told me that I shouldn’t do, and I got pretty badly hurt because I didn’t listen.

What a stupid thing that I did, I went and I tried to repair our own air conditioning unit.

I know, I feel it’s a really bad idea and I shouldn’t have attempted it. When it comes to heating and cooling, apparently it should be left to the professionals. However, I didn’t want to wait to have a heating and AC woman come out here for more than one reason. It is costly to have a heating, ventilation and A/C unit repaired, and the second reason that I didn’t want to have a heating and cooling woman to come out here was because the heating, ventilation and A/C companies were all booked up and I knew it would be at least a few weeks before I’d be able to get someone out here. So I decided it would be best for me to just go and try to do it myself. I told my wife about my idea, but she didn’t want me to do it, however I was confident in my abilities. I had no heating and AC training whatsoever, and I didn’t bother to study or do research like I was supposed to, and in my mind it was the correct sense. Really, I was fortunate that I didn’t permanently damage our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan by attempting this. Although I did manage to shock myself, it was enough to tell me that I had no clue what I was doing. I think I’ll just go ahead and call the professionals and wait for them to do it now.
