I have been planning weddings for as long as I can remember… I went to university for event planning & then started to intern at a local wedding planning corporation, however since that internship I have broken off on my own & started my own event planning corporation.
My wonderful friend and I plan multiple events & do much more than plan weddings, but the weddings have & always will be my favorite.
I don’t normally work closely with brides anymore because I have employees that stay in contact with them for me. I tried to make a manual for my employees about everything you need to do to prepare for planning the large day. I have a whole chapter on heating & cooling in the manual. I can’t stress enough to my employees about the importance of have the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system in the locale on the correct temperature. You don’t want to bride perspiring or the guests shivering. It is a perfect balance when working with heating & cooling. I always tell my employees that they need to call the locale ahead of time & make sure the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system is working, however the last thing my friend and I need is to have a wedding planned & on the large day the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system has stopped working. This has happened to me before & I certainly try & avoid it happening again at all costs. Many people don’t realize how much the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system plays into the day of the wedding. I certainly hope that my employees take me seriously when I say this.
