When my spouse called the heating, ventilation, and A/C business, he told them it was an emergency.
He didn’t really want to take the entire afternoon off of work, just sitting around waiting for the heating, ventilation, and A/C corporation to arrive. He called his office and told them he had an emergency at home, and he wouldn’t be in. He had some personal nights he could use anytime, as long as he called and left a message by a particular time in the day. He was taking a personal afternoon. An hour after calling the heating, ventilation, and A/C business, the heating, ventilation, and A/C corporation was there. My spouse wanted to know how he got there so quickly? The heating, ventilation, and A/C tech said it was a slow afternoon, and when the call came in, he was just coming on duty. He got into his uniform and headed right over. He and my spouse talked about what was wrong with the air conditioner unit, and the heating, ventilation, and A/C tech asked questions. He wanted to know how old the air conditioner was so he could see if it was still under warranty. He also wanted to know if my buddy and I changed the air filters correctly, and when was the last time it was last service. My spouse was scratching his head, unsure when the A/C component had been run tests on. He knew it hadn’t been this year, however he couldn’t remember if it was last year. He didn’t even know when the air filter was changed. I was heading to work, but I knew. I told him I changed the air filter a week ago, and it had been run tests on the fourth week of May.
