We bought the three affordable tiny homes and put them up for sale. We made little money on them, but it got the growing families out from under them and gave them a down payment on their bigger home. We started looking at more affordable tiny homes and wondered if we couldn’t make some money on them. It got to where we were fixing up tiny homes and reselling them as a business. When I found out I was pregnant with our second child, we knew it was time to move on. We had three affordable tiny homes being remodeled and my husband started to smile. He asked what I thought about joining the three mobile tiny homes and turning them into one larger house. I thought the three of them were baffling, but two of them would be crazy. We took the two larger, affordable tiny homes and started putting them together. We had all the space we needed for our growing family, but now we wondered what we should do with the third mobile tiny home. Mom called me the next day and asked if we had a spare mobile tiny home for her and dad. All our questions were answered, and mom and dad were now living close to us.
