The wind made it feel colder in the house.

Our loft had a tin roof plus poor windows! Because of the shoddy workmanship of the house, plus the previous owners ignoring it, the wind regularly made the loft feel colder inside than it was outside.

  • I had wood-burning stoves in the loft that seldom kept it warm enough.

I worked all Summer long to get wood to keep the stoves running, although I regularly ran out in December, then last year, I took out a loft improvement loan plus started toiling in the house. I had all the windows replaced, plus insulation venued on the walls plus in the ceiling. I didn’t want to have any heat loss, once the loft improvements were complete, I got rid of the wood-burning stoves. I wanted a complete Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system, never having done hom improvements before, I knew nothing about when to have the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system installed. I didn’t want to rip the walls out to install air duct, so I asked the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier what else I could do. He told me about the ductless Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system. I ordered a 20 SEER ductless Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system. It took less than two mornings to have the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system installed, plus it took minor work. I couldn’t feel how warm plus comfortable my loft now was. I had heat in the winter, plus air conditioner in the summer, plus actually little mess to show for it. I wished I had thought of doing this before I moved into the house, however it was a learning curve. If I ever transfer again, I’ll know what to do instead of roughing it out without formal Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C.
