My friend and I didn’t know the work would need to be done as soon as my associate and I moved in, or my associate and I would have waited to transport in the following Spring. There was such a draft that went through the house, you would have thought the wind was blowing inside instead of outside. My friend and I realized there was no insulation in the walls, plus the furnace couldn’t keep up with it. Within two months, my associate and I had to have work done on the furnace, but the repairs would not make much difference until my associate and I had the walls insulated, plus the windows updated. The price of oil had risen extremely, plus our entire budget was being spent on fuel for the furnace. My hubby plus I talked about calling a contractor plus having them install insulation in the house, plus moving into an house while the windows were being updated. My friend and I needed insulation throughout the entire house, new doors, plus new windows. My friend and I couldn’t afford an apartment. My mother called plus asked how the household was, plus I burst out crying. I told her the furnace was running consistently, plus it was still cold in the house. I worried about what was going to happen in the Summer with the a/c, however she invited my hubby plus I to stay with her while the work was being done. At least my associate and I had excellent heating plus a/c for the next five months.
