It was there when they first moved into the house more than 5 years before and they had just never gotten around to replacing it up until this point.
Faith and Carl’s father-in-law got them a new smart temperature control for Christmas this year and they love it. They were surprised when they opened up the gift that he got for them and it turned out to be a unit piece for their home’s heating and cooling system. He knew that Faith and Carl were trying to improve the indoor air quality in their house a little bit at a time. But they didn’t have lots of money in their home improvement fund. Faith and Carl had to put a new roof on their house last summer and so that meant they didn’t end up with much to spend on anything else in the house for the heating and cooling system. Faith and Carl were in desperate need of a new temperature control for the house because the old temperature control that they had was faulty. Their father-in-law found out that they were looking at several smart temperature control units and so he took it upon himself to go to the Heating and A/C store to pick one out for them. He got a good smart temperature control for them. Carl installed it himself and it has already made a large difference in the indoor air quality in the house. Faith and Carl are happy to see how much money they end up saving on their heating and cooling bills this year.
