Our wireless temperature control came with an app that alerts us on the iphone when we are due for gas furnace service, but both of us have an electric heat pump that needs correct service, & the alerts keep us on track, however once the message comes on the iphone, I point to calling the heating professional to schedule the gas furnace servicing to avoid forgetting… We’ve been doing that since we bought our beach house multiple years ago & haven’t had any troubles with the electric furnace! The servicing has ensured that we get the most out of the unit without overworking it.
