In past years, my associate and I would have numerous humidifiers toiling all winter long.
They would both be in the kitchen, plus it would barely keep the humidity levels above forty.
This year, my associate and I chose to go from using a humidifier to wishing my associate and I had a dehumidifier. The humidity was so high that I could assume the moisture on my face, then I asked my spouse what was going on, plus why it was so humid, plus he said he thought my associate and I had a vapor lock. I thought he was crazy. I had never heard of an apartment that got vapor locked! He said it usually kept the humidity out of the house, but something must have gone wrong. The vapor barrier was used to keep the humidity levels low in the summer, but it shouldn’t be toiling this way in the winter; however, my buddy and I were now upset that there could be mold throughout the apartment with this happening. I simply called the heating, ventilation, and A/C supplier the next day plus told them about the excess humidity in the house. He came over that day plus started looking for the problem. He said he could not find anything wrong with the heating, ventilation, plus A/C system; but if it persisted, he would need to look at something else. He then said it was a longshot, although he was wondering if there wasn’t a problem with the air duct. He called the air duct cleaners and then told them my associate and I needed to have our air duct cleaned before he did any further research on the wet humidity problem.
