Every end or start of the month, I love shopping in bulk, this means I check my pantry and drawers to see what I need to refill or add.
Then I come up with a budget and a list of things to get… It’s not always to stick to my budget, however at least this saves me from spending cash unnecessarily while I was in the rest of the month.
This is something that I l acquired from mom, and she was in charge of the cash once dad brought condo his check, and there was never a day the two of us ran out of food or non-food items. Things aren’t as hard for me as they were for my parents when I was young. But, that doesn’t mean I can spend cash eating out every day of the week. I’m large on meal prepping and carrying dinner to my site of work! Another thing I do every month is change my air filters in the AC. I live in an section where the AC is always running for 9 months in a year. The rest of the afternoons are mild Winter time which I find so amazing. Because I have to use the AC frequently, I have to make sure I update the air filter every month; Failure to do so can affect the way the AC runs, and also mess with my indoor air conditions. My uncle, who is an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman, is always adamant about replacing the air filters. It’s the best way to keep the AC running longer, and also improve the conditions in my home, then just love the food and non-food items, I also purchase air filters in bulk. There is a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C store in neighborhood that sells them affordably if you choose to get 2 or more cartons of air filters.
