Common sense to a/c

I do our best to be neighborly to those in our community.

When you’re a native of this area, there are some things that you can share to help out the newcomers.

Now, I’ve also had new neighbors that wanted none of our help and that’s fine. But I’ve also seen those same people load up the moving truck and head back where they came from after a single summer… For some, this region is just too warm in the summer time no matter the amount of a/c. These folks come down here thinking that we have perfect weather all the time. We do have near perfect weather for 8 weeks of the year. But from August through September, the heat and humidity can be overwhelming. I am from here and think nothing however this style of weather and it can be a bit much for me come November. But a single of the things I try to relate to newcomers is a official sense approach to a/c. I often hear folks that are new to the section complain about how much they’re spending on a/c. For sure, without some style of plan to moderate the temperature control setting, all that a/c can get undoubtedly high-priced, undoubtedly fast. I always suggest a official sense approach that starts with leaving the a/c off in the Spring! Most people reach for the temperature control once the temperatures are in the mid eighties. I suggest waiting as long as possible before leaving the a/c on. I tried to get into May before the a/c stays on. After that, I make sure that the temperature control is never more than 15 degrees lower than the hottest temperature outside.
