We flipped on the light switch that should’ve turned on

We’ve purchased many different houses without looking at them first.

My partner and I have flipped houses for the past 20 years.

We have eyes and ears all over the place, and people look out for us when they see a fantastic deal. One of our friends named Jill called us because she found out a storage space was coming up for auction. She said the storage device had some fantastic stuff in it and she wanted to ask if we wanted to bid on it. She took a couple of pictures real quick, but we didn’t get a proper look at everything until we were standing there in front of the storage device that we obtained for $600. We flipped on the light switch that should have turned on any overhead light inside. We flipped the switch several times and nothing happened. My partner called the front office and the supervisor came down to the storage locker to check on the lights. She flipped it up and down the same as us and said yeah, it’s broken. She had to call a residential maintenance electrician to fix the issue. During all that time we waited for the residential maintenance electrician to arrive. All we could do was use a flashlight to see as much of the room as possible. When the electrician finally fixed the problem, we got lights and could see everything inside the room. There were quite several things that looked pricey and our buddy was right about the fantastic deal.
