I live in an area that doesn’t require a central cooling system.

There are top-of-the-line cooling systems that supply a 26 SEER, which keeps running costs low. The cost of installing a whole-household cooling system was genuinely worth the many benefits. It is such a relief to be able to simply adjust the temperature control in addition to have every room feel comfortable. I wish I would have made the update much sooner.
