Bees in the HVAC duct

Last Springtime, when I tackled my annual dwelling cleaning, I kept noticing a weird buzzing sound.

I also found a couple of bees flying around inside.

I didn’t think too much about it until the weather warmed up. When I lowered the thermostat & started up the air conditioner a swarm of bees poured out of the supply vents. The bees were truly miserable. I wasn’t quite sure what to do about it. I started by calling the Heating, Ventilation and A/C dealer who handles the seasonal maintenance of my heating & cooling system. They had just ran tests on the air conditioner about a month before however apparently didn’t catch the hive concealed inside the HVAC duct. I was told that I needed to hire a professional bee removal business. Certain types of bees are endangered & protected & can’t be exterminated. Hiring a bee corporation cost me quite a bit of currency & I ended up with some disfigurement to the HVAC duct. I then called the Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation back in order to get HVAC duct repairs & cleaning. The bees left behind quite a bit of debris that would legitimately have restricted airflow & disadvantagely impacted air quality! Scheduling all of these various appointments not only disrupted my monthly life however also meant that my family was separate from air conditioner, every day, the outside temperature was a few degrees hotter, & the humidity kept climbing. My fantastic friend and I opened windows & ran box fans however struggled separate from cooling. I was not cheerful with how much those bees cost me, but I was truly relieved when the air conditioner & HVAC duct were once again operational.
