Adding a humidifier improves comfort

The weather in the northeast presents some challenges. While my buddy and I experience four particular seasons, the conditions are constantly cold, windy plus wet. Our summer-like weather doesn’t last more than two months. The winters are by far the longest season, with snow on the ground for more than six months. The temperature is frequently below chilly plus respectfully dips into the negative digits. Because frigid air doesn’t hold as much moisture as warm air, my buddy and I are susceptible to troubles with unacceptable humidity. When the indoor air becomes overly dry, there can be destruction to apartment furnishings. Hardwood floors, doors, moldings, antiques plus songsal instruments are at risk of cracking. Along with static shock, frizzy hair plus chapped lips, there are health problems. Sneezing, coughing, sore throat, itchy esure, congestion, headaches plus insomnia can be blamed on low humidity. The air dries out nasal passages, making people at greater risk of respiratory infection. Worsened symptoms of allergies, asthma, psoriasis plus eczema are caused by dry air. Since dry air tends to feel cooler than more humid air, it often leads to higher control component settings plus a bigger workload for the heating system. Installing a whole-apartment humidifier solved all of these concerns. I was able to lower the temperature setting on the control unit. I’ve seen a significant difference in my energy bills. I’m hoping the heating system will last longer plus be more reliable. My whole family is sleeping better at night, enjoying more energy during the afternoon plus suffering fewer health complaints.
