It can be terrible being a parent, if you have not heard! Kids always want something and they want it from you; They aren’t self-sufficient and they have not learned how to entertain themselves yet. That means, you spend an disappointing lot of time running around trying to keep them comfortable, glad, and safe all at once, however unblessedly, that was genuinely splitting into my ability to work from home and my fiance’s ability to stay sane, but my pal and I decided that my fantastic friend and I needed to deliver the kids their own separate space so that they could leave us alone. My pal and I figured that converting the garage into an outdoor hanging space was a fantastic idea, however my fantastic friend and I needed some kind of heating and cooling system to keep them comfortable; Without advanced air temperature control, there was no opportunity that they could hang in the garage separate from overheating in the Summers and freezing to death in the winters. It did not take long before my fantastic friend and I found that mini split ductless heating and cooling systems were often used in this same application, however you could install the long, thin heating and cooling machinery to any walls and it would effectively provide advanced air temperature control for that space. My pal and I had the heating and cooling unit installed in the garage last week, and our lives have been so much better already, but every time the kids start to drive us insane, my fantastic friend and I just shove them in the garage with their videogames and turn on the air conditioner… Parenting.

When I saw the price on the professional Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C repair & diagnostic services, I jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. It seems like several clients signed up for this heating plus cooling repair Groupon. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman at our home was drastically overworked plus stressed. At the same time, I knew that she wasn’t making a honorablewage on the heating plus cooling maintenance job. There are some days that I wake up plus make a conscious effort to just be grateful for everything that I have. These are the days that I am usually happiest, calmest, plus most optimistic. The days that I forget to pay attention to the superb things that are happening in my life are the dark days when I get the most depressed. Recently, I was trying to find something to be optimistic plus grateful for, when I looked across the street plus saw that my neighbors had called out the local Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C repair shop again. That instantly gave me something to be delighted about. At least I wasn’t having to call my heating plus cooling specialist over plus over again, like the awful neighbors were. It seems like they needed to call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C repair shop nearly every week for some kind of disaster. I don’t know what is going on with their central heating or cooling system, however clearly it needs a lot of extra attention. If they needed to install a brand new heating system or air conditioner unit, I would be delighted to help them with the finances for the professional installation. My husband and I both work full-time.

Our jobs are rather demanding, stressful and often require overtime.

We have three boys who are all very involved in hockey. Along with school and school-related activities, they have multiple practices per week and participate in tournaments on the weekends. My family spends the majority of time away from home. Our schedule is extremely hectic. There is very little opportunity to manage household tasks. I’ve hired a cleaning lady, a lawn care company and a swimming pool cleaning company. I’ve enrolled into an HVAC maintenance plan and a plumbing maintenance program in hopes of avoiding the disruption of repairs. Our home automation system is especially helpful in saving time and effort. The home automation system handles the automatic adjustment and operation of the door locks, thermostat, lights, coffee maker, dishwasher and so much more. I no longer have to remember these tasks or worry about the consequences of forgetting. I never pay to heat or cool an empty house because the home automation system includes occupancy sensors. It adjusts the temperature, turns on lights and even unlocks the doors when we arrive home. The garage door automatically opens when I pull into the driveway, and a hot cup of coffee is waiting when I step into the kitchen. Because we are away from home so often, I used to stress over a possible break-in, flooding, fire, frozen pipes and all sorts of problems. The smart automation system allows me to keep an eye on things no matter where I happen to be. Surveillance cameras provide a real-time view that I can access from my phone, tablet or laptop. The carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector and moisture sensors are all linked to the automation system.

About 7 months ago I had to move out of my house and into an unfamiliar living situation.

I wasn’t ready for this change of circumstance and I didn’t have the funds prepared to find a new home immediately.

Since then, I’ve been living with friends in the spare bedroom located in their house. I’ve been eyeing the housing market to find a place of my own, but there are always so many complications. If I find a house that looks cute online, it usually is in a dangerous neighborhood in real life. If I find a house within my price range, often times it’s in complete disrepair and needs to be fully refinished. That’s why, I was shocked when I accidentally found the house of my dreams the other day. I went out to see it and I was completely charmed by the small bungalow. Since then, I’ve been debating my options. I’m trying to get an idea of what my finances look like, but it’s difficult without knowing about the status of the heating and cooling system inside the house. So far, we haven’t been able to find out the age of the furnace or central air conditioning system. The selling realtor doesn’t seem very responsive when we inquire about the HVAC condition. I was hoping he could at least tell us when the forced air furnace and Central cooling system were purchased, if not provide us with a routine maintenance schedule of performed appointments. I’m anxiously awaiting the influx of this HVAC information, and in the meantime I’m investigating home loans for partial ventilation remodels. I hope this home, the furnace, and the AC unit work out; there’s no way I’ll take a home with major heating and cooling renovations!

I feel like you always hear about people growing older, their children moving out, and then downsizing to a smaller place.

It’s just the natural progression of things when your family is no longer under the same roof and you don’t need that much house to yourself.

Somehow, my mom didn’t get the message. Even though all of her kids are grown and moved out of the house, for some reason, she is living in a larger house than ever. We never had as much property or as much home as my mom does now, all on her own. She is 60 years old and living on a small horse farm. Her house is quite spacious and it seems like it would create a lot of problems. First of all, I’m not sure why she wants to keep up with cleaning that big of a space. Secondly, she says that her energy bills are outrageous because the cost of heating a large space like that is very significant. She said that the insulation in the house isn’t great and even though she’s replaced all of the windows with double-pane insulated glass, she feels many cold drafts coming from the outside. I feel like she’s paying and heating up a really big home when she can only occupy a single room at a time, and maybe she should start with downsizing her heating space. That’s why I, for Christmas this year I’m getting her zone controlled heating and cooling, whether she likes it or not. If she won’t downsize her house, then I’ll downsize the workload for her HVAC system.

Sometimes it makes me really sad that little girls grow up with completely unrealistic perceptions of love and partnership.

We are taught that a prince charming will come along one day and everything will suddenly be fine in our lives.

We simply need to meet that perfect man and everything will magically fall into place. Nobody ever talks about what happens after you fall in love. It’s not so simple and it’s definitely not a happily-ever-after scenario . In fact, it skips over the part where you meet each other’s parents and don’t get along, go through dry spells romantically, and argue about household chores and utility bills. In my relationship, we’re currently in this exact situation. My husband and I have been complaining about the incredibly high energy bills for several months now. We are quite certain that the heating and cooling system needs an upgrade, but no one wants to fork over the money for a brand new forced air furnace or central air conditioner. Unfortunately, our air temperature control equipment continually breaks down and we have to be very careful with it. I hate to say that it causes a number of arguments for us, so we sought professional help. Our HVAC technician recommended that we start changing the air filter literally every two weeks to extend the life of our failing Heating and Cooling plan. Now, we have to have a little household a bet to manage this annoying chore without trying to kill each other. Whoever forgets to change the air filter when it’s their turn is doomed to pay the repair bill when our HVAC system breaks down.

There are times in life when it’s not worth fighting over things anymore. At some point, you have to choose your battles and decide what is worth the extra stress of additional conflict. For me, I have a pretty low threshold for bullshit. If you’re going to continually fight me on something, I’m going to walk away and let you make your own bed. This generally works out okay for me, especially when it comes to my husband. He is quite predictable and easy to negotiate with when I lay down The rules. Recently, one of the rules that I put in place was regarding our Energy bill. I told him he would be responsible for paying the electric bill for the foreseeable future. Now, I told him this for a reason. It’s not because he rakes in the big bucks or I’m trying to take advantage of him for our energy usage. It’s because he insists on messing with the thermostat day in and day out. I swear to God, by the time I wake up every morning he is already adjusted the thermostat several times. We have a eco-friendly heating and cooling program set on the smart thermostat for energy efficiency, so every time he engages the air conditioning unit or furnace outside of the defined settings he’s costing us money. I grew tired of squawbling about the stupid thermostat, so I decided to cut right to the chase. I told him he can continue abusing the air conditioning unit and furnace if he wants, but he’ll be paying the energy bill for the rest of our lives.

The best things in life are free, have you ever heard that? Personally, I truly believe that this is a great piece of advice.

If you can find a way to be grateful for whatever you’re giving and look on the bright side when it comes to your savings account, you’ll probably be a happier and more successful person in life.

At least, that’s why I do my best to always find the silver lining and every scenario. For instance, this past weekend wasn’t my ideal getaway, but at least we didn’t pay any money for it and I got to spend a lot of intimate time with my friends. We had been trying to make time to go out of town together for quite a while, but the cost of traveling and renting a place was an obstacle for everyone. My friend recommended that we stay at his uncle’s cabin for free and we obliged. He didn’t tell us that there was no modern heating or cooling equipment in the cabin before we arrived. Unfortunately, this was a major problem because the outdoor climate took a steep decline on our way towards the cabin. By the time we arrived, the uneven hot and cold temperatures outside had leveled out to simply be cold. Then, it started it down pouring. The air inside the cabin was stagnant and freezing cold. There was no gas for the fake fireplace, so we went on a search for some wood. Thank God, there was a fire pit in the backyard under a covered gazebo. That night, we slept in the closed gazebo in hammocks with the fire pit as our only source of warmth. It wasn’t what we anticipated, but it definitely was a fun and affordable trip.

My friends have a lot of funny jokes about me.

I understand that they’re just poking fun and it’s all in good spirits, so I don’t mind when they pick on my particular quirks.

I know that I am a bit of an odd bird, so it makes sense that there is plenty to joke about. One of the things that they find most entertaining as my penchant for always over preparing. If we’re headed on a trip, I’m going to be the person who brings two bags too many. I’ll have plenty of snacks, first aid supplies, and backup entertainment sources. I’m always ready for the worst case scenario. They might poke fun, but in the end I end up saving us with my preparedness. Recently, they were joking because we were headed out of town for a week and I brought some unusual supplies. In the back of my car, they found a couple of space heaters that I wanted to bring along. For some reason, this was absolutely hilarious to all of my buddies. They couldn’t imagine a single situation in which we would need a backup heating source. Personally, I could think of 10 or 20. It didn’t seem like a big stretch that we would run into some heating issues and ultimately need an alternative form of warmth. Sure enough, when we arrived at the cabin and we found that the pilot light was out on the forced air furnace. While we waited for the property owner to give us instructions on resetting of the heating system, I smugly went out to the car and gathered my space heaters.

Cold air continued to fill the car and pretty soon it felt like winter inside of my vehicle

I don’t understand when people say that they hate long car rides. I have so many work Associates who refused to drive even five or six hours to get to a pool destination. They would rather go through the hassle of boarding an airplane and figuring out all of that Transportation. Personally, I love long car rides and I truly enjoy the opportunity to get out and see some new sites. Even if I’m just looking at trees, I’m pretty happy. That’s why I was extremely excited when my boyfriend proposed that we take a week off and get out of town together. It sounded great for us to both get away from work. I was excited to spend a long car ride with him exploring our local mountains. I imagined a lot of scenarios when the slide out in my head, but what actually happened wasn’t one of them. We were only about an hour into the trip when I noticed that the indoor air was getting quite cold inside the car. I couldn’t tell if the outdoor air temperature had declined enough that we just needed to bump up the thermostat inside the vehicle, so I slowly started increasing the heating power from the air temperature controls inside. Unfortunately, this didn’t seem to fix the problem. Cold air continued to fill the car and pretty soon it felt like winter inside of my vehicle. We pulled over at a gas station and my boyfriend started poking around at the engine, seeing if he could figure out what was going on. We were unable to fix the heating issue because it seemed like the on board heater genuinely needed to be repaired and forfeited ourselves to cold defeat. When I imagined this awesome road trip together, I didn’t think I would be driving wrapped in a sleeping bag for half of it.
